Westchester/Playa del Rey Neighborhood Council The Westchester Playa del Rey Neighborhood Council is a product of the new Charter for the City of Los Angeles.
Neighborhood Councils hold the potential for bringing City Government closer than ever to all of the residents and businesses of the Westchester and Playa del Rey Community.

LAX Master Plan A primary goal of the LAX Master Plan process is to explore ways that our region can meet projected needs for air transportation while balancing those needs with the concerns of airport area communities. This cannot take place without careful consideration and thoughtful planning.
Public involvement is key to any airport planning, and this website will provide up-to-date information to the public. The website contains basic facts about the various alternatives under study, including the Staff Recommended Alternative. The draft environmental studies and accompanying master plan are available online in order to facilitate the public review process.
